Here are the visa requirements for Canadians visiting Spain and Denmark:

In Spain, citizens of all countries except Brazil, China, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, North Korea, Venezuela and Zimbabwe need a visa to enter. Citizens of Brazil need a visa if they are staying in Spain for more than 90 days. Citizens of China and Cuba do not require a visa but will need a tourist card if they plan to stay in Spain for more than 90 days.

Denmark is similar to Spain with the exception that citizens of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia , Czech Republic , Estonia , Hungary , Latvia , Lithuania , Macedonia (former Yugoslav Republic), Montenegro , Poland , Romania , Serbia and Ukraine do not require a visa if they are travelling within 180 days of their arrival. citizens of all other countries must obtain a Schengen tourist permit before travelling to Denmark.
