For those travelling to study at an educational institution in India, an Education Visa is required and this can be obtained from the Indian Embassy or High Commission in Latvia. This type of visa allows for multiple entries into India and is valid for the duration of the course of study, up to a maximum period of five years.

How to apply for an Indian Visa?

The process for applying for an Indian visa is fairly simple and can be done either online or offline.

For those applying offline, they will need to submit their application form and documents at the nearest Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC). As for those applying online, they will need to fill out the application form on the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and then upload the required documents.
